Whenever one deleted a file it is sent to Recycle bin. Recycle bin from where it can be easily restored But what if you delete it from recycle bin also and what to recover it?? Or you are one of those lazy people like me who just press shift+delete key to permanently delete the file
Active@ File Recovery comes handy at that time. It can recover accidentally deleted files. Files that have been damaged due to formatting or virus attacks etc. It can also recover lost partitions. Continue reading ‘Recover Accidentally Deleted Files with Active@ File Recovery’

You must be thinking what all happened to techreckoner last week? There were no updates and the website was down. So here is a list of what all happened.
- My High School results were declared I still remember me & my friends were awake whole night because the results were to be declared 8am. I got 75% which is B+ over all and 90% which is A++ in my favorite subject Multimeida & Web Technology. I was so happy though these marks are less but its an achievement for me despite i was unwell for over 6 months and had to be hospitalized ( more on this in my personal blog soon). So it was time to party a bit

- Me and Akshit have been working on a new look for Techreckoner since long and this work got faster this week.
- My college is starting from 4th
may June (sorry for the error
), 2007. I am pursuing B.Sc. in 3d animation.
- I had thought of putting down the blog and seems god had heard me and Lunarpages server had to go under emergency maintenance. Though they were in contact with me but it took longer than expected. Meanwhile my friend Preshit of Expertrio Web Services provided me with a backup hosting account. I had already put up all my data on his server but till then my host was back. (More Expertrio in coming posts)
- I am slowly and gradually updating the blog so you may experience downtimes. Inconvenience is regretted.

Oh what a sweet, sweet day it must be for Microsoft. The first worm specifically targeting the open-source office package OpenOffice has emerged.
It runs on Windows, Mac and Linux computers, but anti-malware vendor Sophos admits it poses a low threat, especially as it’s only a proof-of-concept that hasn’t actually been discovered ‘in the wild’.
Bad bunny: some people have a one-track mind…The OpenOffice worm uses the inbuilt StarBasic scripting language in the office suite to save scripts to disk in several other languages. Continue reading ‘First OpenOffice virus emerges’

Ever wanted to send a file over the mobile? Like some theme or some big picture which couldn’t be sent via MMS. Go-WAP’s cell phone file upload is what you need. Go-WAP allows you to upload a file and send it anywhere around the world. If this hadn’t been a paid review still I would have loved reviewing their service.
Go-Wap offers allows one to host mobile related files like ringtones, wallpapers, games, themes, softwares etc. The files are hosted on their servers for 7 days and anyone can download it via any mobile which has internet enable in it.
The steps involved are following : Continue reading ‘Go-WAP - Review’

Yeah its true! Microsoft has confirmed that Windows Vista is the last 32bit version of Windows for desktops. Windows Sever 2008 and its ‘release 2′ will be the last 32 bit for server. After that no more 32bits from Microsoft’s side!
Means that if you have Pentium 4 and Core Duo ( Pentium D) without Extended 64 support then you’ll need to stick with Vista forever else you will need to update to test forthcoming Windows from Microsoft. Microsoft will slowly transit into 64bit in 2008 because they have realized the benefits of 64-bit computing. Continue reading ‘End of 32 bit processors? Atleast Microsoft confirms that!’
